PROGRAMOK 2018. június 8-án
10:00-12:45 What is the impact of your research? workshop
Organiser: Köves Alexandra, Havran Dániel, Kiss Gabriella
Date: June 8, 2018
Venue: Corvinus University, Budapest Campus, C.204
This international workshop during the Research Week of the Corvinus Business School focuses on uncovering the different perspectives of the impact of our research. It is a clear tendency that a business school's impact is no longer judged solely on the basis of its academic merits but also on its real impact on students, businesses, social organisations, local stakeholders, and society as a whole. However, until we measured our impact in terms of impact factors and citations; judging the real impact is a highly challenging task. It is, however, not just an interesting theoretical question but also a very practical one. More and more accreditation processes focus on how a business school can prove the real impact of its research capacities. The workshop will be a forum where we can all share our own stories, and see how the impact of our research can be construed, valued, measured and externally supported.
